Chihiros WRGB II Slim
The Chihiros WRGB II Slim is an LED system series, which serves the complete colour range of aquatic plants with its optimised design of RGB LEDs and lets the colours in the aquarium shine especially vividly. Compared to the classic WRGB II model, this lamp is only 15 mm thick and blends discreetly into any aquarium design without drawing attention away from the layout. The Chihiros WRGB II Slim is also remarkable for its particular stability. At a relatively low power consumption, Chihiros WRGB II Slim series led lighting illuminates the complete tank with excellent light distribution angles and suites aquarium sizes from 30 to 140 cm length.
The Chihiros WRGB II Slim light-system is programmed via the “My Chihiros App” directly and does not need an additional commander. The app offers individual control over the three colour channels “R” (red), “G” (green) and “B” (blue), as well as individually programmable daily phases. Sunrise and sunset can be imitated, too. Additionally, Chihiros has installed various presets that can highlight certain types of plants with special colour settings. These presets can also be adjusted individually with the app, so that the best possible illumination can be achieved for each aquarium. With the chihiros wrgb ii slim series, there is no need for an external timer because all schedules can be saved as desired.

What is the best setting for Chihiros WRGB 2?
It is important to keep the correct spectrum when growing aquarium plants. It is not recommended to adjust the light too much. When you are setting either the Red, Green or Blue – you need to make sure to keep these settings within 5% of each other. For example, if you have adjust the Red spectrum, then the blue and green should not be more than 5% higher or lower than that of the red. This will help in promoting plant growth and slowing down algae growth. You can use the following percentages as a guideline for specific size aquarium and depth:
- 20cm deep : 35% on RGB
- 25cm deep : 40% on RGB
- 30cm deep : 60% on RGB
- 35cm deep : 80% on RGB
- 40cm Deep : 100% on RGB
- 45cm or deeper will require mulitple chihiros lights
Is Chihiros WRGB 2 waterproof?
No. The light can handle minor slashes, but it is not waterproof.
What LED is used by Chihiros?
The lamp body of the wrgb ii slim series led is equipped with type 5730 SMD LED chips in three adjacent rows. This provides an even and areal illumination of the aquarium. The white LEDs have a colour temperature of about 8000 Kelvin. This will only apply if you keep the all 3 colours (Red, Green and Blue) on the same percentage.
What is WRGB aquarium light?
Each letter represents a colour. In this case the W means white, R is for red, G for green and B for Blue. Normally if you put the RGB close together it appears white to the naked eye. This is the case with the Chihiros WRGB slim there is only RGB, but with the Chihiros WRGB Pro it also has white as spectrum separately.
